He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parent Adella (Borowski); his wife Sheri; his sister Cynthia Alves of Kennebunk, Maine; his children, Steven Poftak (Kathleen Flinton) of Boston, Massachusetts and Amy Poftak (Ernest Shosho) of Winchester, Massachusetts; his stepchildren, Shelley Jones, Tyler Emley and Nathan Emley; his grandchildren, Natalie, Vivien, Kieran and Henry; and his stepgrandchildren, Ely and Ruby.
