She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth W. Ames; her parents, William Karmeris and Kathryn Karmeris; her children, Susan Ames and Charles Ames (Wesley); and her brother-in-law Carlton Spencer.
She is survived by: her sister Lynne Spencer of Rollinsford, NH; her children, Jennifer Scott (Michael) of Dayton, ME, Richard Ames (Rick) of Sharpsburg, GA and Deborah Rodgers (Mark) of Center Ossipee, NH; and her daughter-in-law Mary Ames of Ocala, FL. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
