It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vincent James Collins (Belfast, Maine), born in New Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on March 15, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his siblings, Dennis Collins, Sharon Tartaris (Bob Tartaris) and Noreen Palumbo (Ralph Palumbo); his nieces and nephews, Carianne Palumbo, Jennifer Sargent, Nicole Herget, Christopher Palumbo, Brendan and Brady Collins; his former wife Virginia Betts; his children, Meredith Collins (Jessamyn Schmidt) and Bennett Collins (Christa Thorpe); and his grandchild Gillen Collins. He is also survived by his friends and family.
Following the isolating Covid-19 lockdown of 2020, Vince welcomed his first grandchild, born on February 25th 2021 and named Gillen after Vince's mother.
