She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Surek and Lillian Surek (Reynolds); her husband Elwood Merry; and her children, Elwood Merry (Leslie), Rebecca (Alan Merithew) and Sonja Ward.
She is survived by: her children, Dennis Merry (Tina) of Swanville, Timothy Merry (Pamela) of Swanville, Melody Holmes of Belfast and Kristi (Alva Philbrook) of Belfast; her children-in-law, Wendy Merry of Swanville and Preston Ward of Swanville; her brother Peter Surek (Sonja) of Thomaston; her sister-in-law Faustina Merry of Belfast; and her friend Emily Flagg of Belfast. She is also survived by her 17 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 7 great, great-grandchildren.
