He was predeceased by: his parents, Erlon Payson and Louise Payson of Belfast, Maine.; his son B. Dennis Payson Jr.; and his grandsons, Benjamin David Payson and John Joseph Payson.
He is survived by: his wife Fran; and his children, Victoria, Timothy (Cathie) and Anthony (Natasha). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
