He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Hardy and Eleanor Hardy (Luce). He is survived by: his wife Bonita Hardy; his sister Ann Wilkie (Hardy); his niece Michelle Hosford (Kris); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Alex and Hailey; and his nephew Jason Wilkie.

In lieu of flowers it would have been his wish to make a donation in his memory to the Belfast Soup Kitchen as they were a big help to him in the past.
