He was predeceased by: his parents, Eleanor Giles (Shippy) and Alvin Giles Sr.; and his siblings, Betty Zani and Robert "Bobby" Giles. He is survived by: his significant other Jamie Lucas; his daughter Derri Lucas (David Oxton); his granddaughters, Kiana and Anastasia Oxton; and his brothers, Richard Giles, Roland Giles (Carol) and Larry Giles (Kathy). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
