He was predeceased by: his parents, William F. and Mary P. King of West Newton, MA.; his former wife Susan Decker King; and his siblings, Thomas P. King and Anne Palmer (Nancy).
He is survived by: his wife Jayne Coffin Palmer; his children, Julia K. Briggs (Grant III) and William F. King III (Danielle); his grandchildren, Margaret C. Foglio (Adam), Allison B. Gamage (Joseph), Samantha W. Briggs, Abigail F. King and Caleb W. King; and his great grandchild Leona A. Foglio. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
