It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Ellsworth Soule of Bath, Maine, who passed away on January 10, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fletcher Harford and Helen Harford (Safford). He is survived by: his wife Carol Smith Carter; his children, Michael C. Soule (Lorraine Meyette), Sharon A. Kuhn (George), Daniel V. Soule (Terri) and Glenn S. Soule (Tracie); and his brothers, Robert Soule and Dean Soule. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.
The military honors was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Central Maine Veterans' Memorial Cemetery (22 Mount Vernon Rd, Augusta, ME 04333). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at 119 Commercial St, Bath, ME 04530.
