It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Philip Shannon of Bath, Maine, born in Greenwich Village, New York, who passed away on August 9, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin John Shannon and Catalda Malagrino Shannon. He is survived by: his siblings, Michael Owen Shannon of New Jersey and Karen Shannon DiPrete of Florence, Italy.; his wife Patricia Shannon; his children, Marta (Keith Laser), Philip (Glenda Valentine), Angelina (Douglas Madison) and Kristen (Eric Alderman); and his grandchildren, Christopher Laser, Shannon Krupka, Claire Amundsen, Timothy Laser, Anna Manning, James Laser, Michael Laser, Mary Madison, John Madison, Jessica Alderman, Matthew Alderman, Joseph Alderman, Nicholas Alderman and Veronica Alderman. He is also survived by twelve great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
