He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Linwood LaForest and Jeannette Mary Groves (Swain); his wife Marlene A. Hinkley of Bath; his daughter Heather Nicoll (James Nicoll) of Longwood, Florida; his grandsons, Thomas and Jackson Nicoll of Longwood, Florida; his niece Pamela Russ (David Russ) of Columbia, Maine; and his nephews, John A. Greenlaw (Marlene Greenlaw) of Lincoln, Maine and Richard J. Greenlaw (Jean Greenlaw) of Kittery. He was also cherished by several grandnieces and grandnephews and several cousins.
