He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil R. MacNeil and Ethel S. MacNeil (Jacobs); his daughter Melanie J. MacNeil; and his siblings, Walter, Gordon MacNeil and Frances Craig.
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia A. Pinkham of Five Islands; his children, Joel MacNeil (Lisa) of Woolwich, Jamie MacNeil (Devon) of Wiscasset, Glenda MacNeil of Virginia, Doreen MacNeil of Bath, Sonia Taylor (Mike) of Albion, Arianne Dickinson (Carner) and Gardiner; and his siblings, Raymond MacNeil of Florida and Alice MacNeil of Raymond. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
