With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carolyn Bartlett Gillchrest in Bar Mills, Maine, born in Hyannis, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 30, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Cecil Goodall and Hazel Goodall (Lutz); her husband James A. Gillchrest, Jr.; her sisters, Betty Pease and Ruthie Behlman; her sisters-in-law, Sally Brooks and Jean Simmons; her children, James A. Gillchrest III (Jay), Allison Beth Holtman (Steve), Janet Horton (Harry), Kate Cataline (Curtis) and Sarah Cummings (Edward); her daughter-in-law Charlene Gillchrest; her great grandchildren, Kaitlynn Gillchrest, Michelle Gillchrest, James Gillchrest V, Camden Gallant and Teryn Gallant; her great great grandchild Aurora Osborne; and her friend Sue Nugent. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
