She was predeceased by: her parent Christen Thomsen; her former husband Vaughn Dale Carey; her son Allen M. Carey; and her siblings, Elmer Thomsen, Anne Christensen and Mae Clabby.
She is survived by: her parent Vilhemmina Thomsen (Bertelsen); her husband Ben Libby; her children, Mark V. Carey of Fairbanks and Jeanne C. Hildenbrand; her stepchildren, Chris Libby, Peg Libby and Andy Libby; her grandchildren, Jeramie, Brian, Sarah, Lucas, Philip, Nathan, Cyrus and Zachary; and her great grandchildren, Emberlynn and Deagland.
