We are sad to announce that on February 1, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Philip David Sanborn Sr. of Bar Harbor, Maine. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Sanborn and Mazie Sanborn (Simpson); his children, Ann (Sanborn), Bellante (John Bray), Beth (Sanborn), Oliver (Jack), Philip Sanborn, Jr. (Flip) and Jerald (Jerry); his siblings, Beulah Sanborn, Richard Sanborn (Josie), James Sanborn (Hazel), Harry Sanborn and Nathan Sanborn (Roy); his wife Elizabeth Sanborn; his sister Helen Sanborn; his nephews, Joseph Bellante and Cody Sanborn (Kelly Papa); his niece Kayla Sanborn; and also Elizabeth Anne Thatcher. He was also cherished by his four children and their respective spouses.

In lieu of flowers or other memorial gifts, the family requests that you consider a contribution in Phil's honor to your local Hospice facility.
