We bid farewell to Marlene L. Sprague (Bar Harbor, Maine), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 29, 2025 at the age of 88. Marlene touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Marlene leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Imelda Guptill (Godin) and Isadore Leavitt (Izzy); and her brother David A. Ingraham (Raymond D. Sprague Jr.). She is survived by: her children, John R. Sprague (Marie) of Cushing, ME, Kevin M. Sprague (Jean) of Lamoine, ME and Kim E. Newman of Goose Creek, SC. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (46 Ledgelawn Ave, Bar Harbor, ME 04609).
