She was predeceased by: her father Chester A. Lewis; her spouse Gardiner Mitchell, Sr.; her sister Blanche Harper; and her half-brothers, David and Keith Lewis.
She is survived by: her daughter Pamela (Peter Smith) of Southwest Harbor; her grandson Nathaniel Brehmer (Shelley) of Apopka, FL.; her stepgrandchildren, Katrina Smith of Silver Springs, MD., Sam Smith (Krista) of North Pole, AK and Duncan Smith (Gabrielle) of Portland, OR.; her son Robert (Jennifer Mitchell) of Mount Desert; her grandchildren, Robert Jr. "Brett" of Wiscasset and Caroline "Calli" of Boston, MA.; her siblings, Priscilla Oberheu, Lucille Grant, Sally Beadle, Sharon Richardson and Chester Lewis, Jr.; and her half-siblings, Jamie Lewis, Marilyn Damon, Sandra Meier and Johnna Stewart. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
