He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Vergilius Ture Anselm Ferm and Nellie Agnette Nelson Ferm; his children, Beth Wetzler and William (Bill); his grandchildren, Edward Deane, Maria Faust of Copenhagen, Denmark, Nils (Nicole), Jacob, William, Jr. (Billy) and Carl of Mount Desert; his daughter Linnea West (John) of Tennessee; his granddaughters, Viola Williams (Andrew) of Texas and Jenny of South Carolina; his son Robert Ferm (Bob); his grandson Robert Ferm (Bobby); his great grandchild Abigail Ferm (Abby) of Massachusetts; his sisters-in-law, Betty Swan of Connecticut and Sonja Olson of Vermont; and also, Erik of North Yarmouth and Abel of Mount Desert. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
