It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anita Jo Burdzel of Bar Harbor, Maine, who passed away on June 13, 2024, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Anita departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Anita may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Anita leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her father Edgar Caverly (EC); and her brother Richard. She is survived by: her mother Charlee Ballard of Boothbay; her sister Sara Thompson (John) of Windsor; and her children, Anna, Adam, Andrew and Antimony. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
