He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Hartstone and Gertrude Hartstone (Share); his wife Valerie Hawkins; and his brother Barry. He is survived by: his children, Allison MacDonald (Thomas), Andrew (Ruth Heritage) and Heather (Dan Saunders); his grandchildren, Thomas MacDonald Jr., Jacob MacDonald, Erin MacDonald, Emma MacDonald, Taylor Hartstone and Amyanne Hartstone; and his siblings, Fred Hartstone (Linda) and Sharon Levine (Mark).
A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Jewish Funeral Chapel (118 Center St, Bangor, ME 04401). A graveside service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith (133 Center St, Bangor, ME 04401).
