He was predeceased by: his parents, Preston Hopkins and Hermance Hopkins (Phaneuf); his son John; and also, Arthur, Connie, Gerard, Carolyn, Mark and Alan.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Hopkins; his children, Margaret Hopkins (Reginald Richard), Christine Frazee (Mark), Glenn Hopkins (Donna) and Carol Pearl (Ralph); his grandchildren, Adrienne Kinchla (Greg), Ralph Pearl Jr. (Amanda), Michael Frazee (Mary), Regina Pearl, Ethan Pearl and Daniel Frazee (Lucy); his stepgranddaughter Jessica Freeman (Ryan); his brother Preston Hopkins (Debbie); and his sisters-in-law, Carol Thistle and Beverly Hopkins. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bangor Grande Hotel (357 Odlin Rd, Bangor, ME 04401). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sawyer Cemetery (1433 Moosehead Trail Hwy, Plymouth, ME 04969).
