Robert Jordan Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 31, 2025, at the age of 85, Robert Jordan (Bangor, Maine) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Andrew and Avis Harriet DeVere Jordan; his former wife Valerie Thompson; his son Mark; and his sister Phyllis Jordan.
He is survived by: his wife Edie Anderson; his children, Paul Jordan (Lori), Jacqueline Stancliff and Andrea Jordan; his stepsons, Matthew Anderson (Sarah) and Marc Anderson; his grandchildren, Adrienne Dronenburg, Eric Stancliff, Nathaniel, Kayla Jordan and Jessica Ruleman; his stepgranddaughter Mila Anderson; and his sister Miriam King (David). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM and on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Calendar Hermon Baptist Church (2496 U. S. Rte 2, Hermon, ME 04401).
Memorials may be given to Gideons International or Hermon Baptist Church.
