He is survived by: his mother-in-law Peggy Lou Waugh; his children, Jeffery Gerald (Laurie) of Dedham and Johnna Smith of Newburgh; and his sisters, Carolyn Slade, Shelby Sutherburg (Lee), Alyson Coffin and Jane Gerald.
