He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Nelligan and Rita Williams; his sister Patricia Landry; his stepfather Wendall Gary Williams; and his granddaughters, Mercedez and Jordynn Nelligan.

He is survived by: his wife Sandra; his daughter Kimberly; and his grandchildren, Darius, Izaiah and Sapphire.
