She was predeceased by: her parents, Brendan Crowe and Elaine Crowe. She is survived by: her husband Greg Ireland; her children, Erika Griffin (Patrick) and Gregory Ireland II; her grandchildren, Kate, Marin and Brendan Griffin; her siblings, Andrea Boivin and Brendan Crowe; and her pet Murphy. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Kiley & Foley Funeral Service (299 Union St, Bangor, ME 04401). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Johns Catholic Church (207 York St, Bangor, ME 04401).
In recognition of her lifelong calling to education, her ties to Lucerne, and her granddaughter Kate's commitment to the organization, Maureen has asked that those who wish may make contributions in her name to Camp CaPella, PO Box 552, Holden, ME 04429 or at campcapella.org.
