It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lucy Ella Tripp of Bangor, Maine, who passed away on January 9, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Bernard J. Carter; her husband Calvin Edward Tripp Sr.; her brothers, Bernard Jr., Robert, Donald and John Carter; her grandson Tyler Babcock; and her little buddy Buster.
She is survived by: her sister Merna (Jack Haynes); her children, Debra Tripp, Crystal (Brett Gray), Calvin Jr. (Tracey Tripp), Robby Babcock, Roxanne (Alan Hodgkins), George Quimby and Davina Denno; her grandchildren, Eli Fowler, Allen Zeigler, Daniel Tripp, Lucy Porter, Jessica (Adam Perkins), Eric (Melodie Tripp), Joshua Tripp, Ashley Babcock, Dylan Gray, Jake Gray, Kyle Hodgkins, Chase Hodgkins, Brandon Babcock and Anna Gray; and her great grandchildren, Shelby Fowler, Clara Porter, Alayna Porter, Elsa Perkins, Adelaide Perkins, Sabrina Everleth, Jaxson Tripp, Abel Tripp, Amia Tripp, Brielle Farren, Sierra Farren, Trysten Roy and Mackenzie Fitts.
A reception will be held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Calendar Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith (163 Center St, Bangor, ME 04401).
