He was predeceased by: his parents, Thale W. Brackett and Martha Brackett (Goodine); his siblings, Mary Anne Brackett, Gerald Brackett (Buck), Frank Brackett (Timey), Muriel Turtlott, Thale H. Brackett (Wee John), Allen Brackett, Richard Brackett, John Brackett and Janet Armstrong; and his close friend Keith Bridges.
He is survived by: his wife Janie Brackett; his sons, Marty Jackson Jr. (Joelle) and Scott Jackson (Ida); his sisters, Jean Armstrong and Barbie Collins (Roger); his grandchildren, Vivian, Emily, Tyler, Gabby, Devan, Hayley and Brandon; his great grandchildren, Rowan, Alice and Preston; his sister-in-law Cynthia Brackett; his close friends, Ricky Gallagher and Randy Bubar; his little buggers, Rascal, Punkin and Callie; and his nephews, Scott Armstrong and Little Thale Brackett. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
