With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Harold Carleton of Bangor, Maine, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 17, 2024 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though James may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those James touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his brother Michael Carleton (Mike); and his parents, Harold Carleton and Irene Sanford Carleton. He is survived by: his brothers, John Carleton (Colleen) and Jeffrey (Jennifer); and his nieces and nephews, Derrick Carleton (Sara), Tonya Carleton of Bangor, Ashley Carleton of Levant and Benjamin Carleton of Lewiston.
