It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Cameron in Bangor, Maine, born in Caribou, Maine, who passed away on November 3, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Judson Cameron and Celia Cameron Jr. (Smith); his wife Deborah Peterson Smith of Caribou; his children, Sarah Beth Stone (Michael Cothran) of Winslow and Lon Cameron (Tyler Kidder) of Litchfield; his stepchildren, Ben Smith (Jen Gennaco) of North Yarmouth, Stewart Smith (Sharon) of Westford, MA, Christy Van Egmond (Jeff) of Douro-Drummer, Ontario and Kevin Smith (Lori) of Caribou; and his sister Colleen Murphy (Jim) of Caribou.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Mockler Funeral Home (24 Reservoir St, Caribou, ME 04736). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Calendar Mockler Funeral Home (24 Reservoir St, Caribou, ME 04736).
