Galen Howard Shedd Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Galen Howard Shedd (Bangor, Maine), who passed away on December 7, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard E. Shedd and Laura M. Shedd (Tilton); and his wife Ethel. He is survived by: his daughter Suzanne Fougere (Shedd); his grandsons, Zachary Landry and Jamison Fougere; his siblings, Janet Moulen of Rye, NH, Derward Shedd (Betty) and Alton Shedd (Mary); his sister-in-law Ruth Doyon (Arnie); and his nieces, Kathy Shedd and Robin Climo. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Brookings-Smith (133 Center St, Bangor, ME 04401). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith (163 Center St, Bangor, ME 04401).
