Though Francis may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Francis touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard G. Rist and Rose Rist (Chiavelli); and his siblings, Richard G. Rist, Jr., Rosemary Rist and Robina Mahaney.
He is survived by: his sister Mary Lou Rist of Bangor.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Johns Catholic Church (207 York St, Bangor, ME 04401).
