We bid farewell to Ernie C. Mudgett in Bangor, Maine, born in Portland, Maine, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 29, 2025. Ernie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Ernie may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ernie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his father William Mudgett; his wife Janice Zoerheide of North Yarmouth; his mother Judith A. Sproul of Lisbon; and his sisters, Heather Gilbert of Waterville, Susan Husson (Derek) of Lisbon, Cassandra Guillaume (Donald) of Glenburn and Cheryl Burger (Daniel) of North Yarmouth. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Kiley & Foley Funeral Service (299 Union St, Bangor, ME 04401).
