She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenwood Waddell and Virginia Waddell; her husband Manson Smart; and her granddaughter Mackenzie Smart. She is survived by: her children, Mahaila Coshenet (Chris) of Bangor, Becky Hatch (Terry) of Medford, Bobby Smart (Denise) of Howland and Rachel Ringuette (Kevin Ringuette); her grandchildren, Emily Covel (Josh), Kiera Hatch, Brandon Smart, Lauryn Smart, Justin Ringuette, Alyssa Collins, Josephine Coshenet, Lori-Anne Coshenet and Sebastian Coshenet; and her great grandchildren, Caleb Covel, Addison Collins and Olivia Collins.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Barbara's memory to the Activity Fund at Cummings Health Care Facility.
