Athena V. Cox Duddy Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Athena V. Cox Duddy of Bangor, Maine, who passed away on June 24, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Athena V. Cox Duddy to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vassor Vafiades and Jennie Vafiades (Brountas); her former husband John H. Cox; and also, Steven Vafiades (Mary), Lewis Vafiades (Marian), Venizelos Vafiades (Geddy) and Nicholas Vafiades (Dee).
She is survived by: her husband William Duddy; her children, Kevin Cox (Sherri) of Ellsworth, John W. Cox (Debbie) of Portland, Thomas J. Cox (Catherine) of Valley Forge and Karen J. Cox Silva (James) of St. Augustine, Florida.; and her grandchildren, Callie Cox, John A. Cox, John T. Cox and Daniel T. Cox. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
