He is survived by: his wife Ann; his brother Wayne McCarthy (Marie) of New Sharon; his sons, Pat McCarthy (Jane) of Hollis, Mark McCarthy of Augusta and Brent McCarthy (Jen) of Winthrop; and his grandson Sean McCarthy.
