He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Wheelock and Leta D. Wheelock (Mitton); his sister Patricia; his brother-in-law William Havey; his brothers, Vance and David Wheelock; and his nephew Vance Wheelock Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Rita K. Wheelock (Kinsey) of Augusta; his sons, Robert E. "Bobby" Wheelock, Jr. (Sarah Rae) of Rockwood and Damon H. Wheelock (Shelly M. Wilson) of Augusta; his sister Sandra Crockett (Stephen) of Winthrop; and his sisters-in-law, Roberta "Bobbi" Wheelock of Lakeland, FL and Eva Wheelock of Augusta. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Plummer Funeral Home (16 Pleasant St, Augusta, ME 04330). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Winthrop United Methodist Church (58 Main St, Winthrop, ME 04364).
