He was predeceased by: his parents, William E. Barrows Sr. and Eula Florence Barrows (Stratton); and his brothers, William Barrows, Jr., Ralph Barrows and Paul Barrows.
He is survived by: his wife Theresa Barrows (Duplessis) of Augusta, ME; his children, Richard A. "Rick" Barrows II (Rebecca Kennedy) of Chelsea, ME, Jean Gotreau (Kenneth) of Sidney, ME and Lisa Bolduc (Luke) of Augusta, ME; and his brother Kenneth Barrows of Augusta, ME. He is also survived by three grandchildren; three step-grandchildren: one great-grandchild; four step great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
