He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Duplessis and Juliette Reinhart (Dubois); the mother of his children Simone Duplessis (Compagna); his wife Mona Duplessis; and his sister Lorraine Anderson.

He is survived by: his daughters, Linda Duplessis (Larry Whitmore), Carole Tunison (Donald), Lisa Duplessis (Diana Satkunas), Tina Clark (Richard) and Roxanne Knapp; his grandchildren, Heather Tunison (Eric Brewer), Noah Michaud, Zack Acord (Beth), Kristyn Maxim (Brandon) and Macy Hopkins (Tyler Harvey); his daughters, Katie Hill (Jason Smith) and Christine Hill; and his brother-in-law Anderson.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Plummer Funeral Home (16 Pleasant St, Augusta, ME 04330). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Augustine Catholic Church (75 Northern Ave, Augusta, ME 04330). A committal service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Chapel of the Maine Veteran's Cemetery (163 Mount Vernon Rd, Augusta, ME 04330).
