He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Philias Gilbert and Marie Gilbert (Pepin); his wife EmmaJane (Cloutier); his brother Gilles; his children, Laura Gilbert-Caret (Joseph) of Oakland, Rhonda Cousens (Richard) of Bowdoinham and Gary Gilbert (Lisa) of Manchester, Maine; his grandsons, Noah Caret (Lindsey) of Benton and Elijah Caret of Fitchburg, Wisconsin; his stepgrandchildren, Eric Cousens (Dawn) of Turner, Andrea Fancher (Rusty) of Lignum, Ryan Gorneau (Alyssa) of Jersey City and Breanna Gorneau of Manchester; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Melina, Dylan, Eason, Charley Fancher, Emma and June Cousens; and his siblings, Royal, Joseph, Pauline Fortin, Violet Richards and Madeleine Pomerleau. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
