With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Matthew Wayne Galletta (Augusta, Maine), who passed away on December 15, 2023 at the age of 55. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Luella Galletta (Craig); his stepmother Carolyn Galletta; and his sister Dianne Dispoto. He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Galletta; his children, Quinn Galletta (Charles Lees) and Jack Galletta; his father James S. Galletta Sr.; his siblings, James S. Galletta Jr. and Patricia Kinney (Norman); his brother-in-law Gregg Dispoto; his parents-in-law, Jane and Richard Umphrey; his brother-in-law Matthew Umphrey (Rachel Umphrey); his nephews, Garrett and Spencer; and his brother-in-law Dan Umphrey.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Matt's name may be made to: Awesome Bear Society, PO Box 304, Manchester, ME 04351 to support the Maranacook's booster organization.
