With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Joseph Leo Fortin (Augusta, Maine), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerard J. Fortin and Marie Anne Fortin (Pare). He is survived by: his wife Docile R. Fortin (Veilleux) of Sidney; his children, Dale A. Fortin of Tualatin, OR, Kevin R. Fortin of West Bath and Angela Fortin of Glenburn; his sisters, Maria Rita Busque of South Carolina and Marie Anita Fortin of Waterville; and his grandchildren, Ellie, Austin, Tyler and Brady. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Augustine Catholic Church (75 Northern Ave, Augusta, ME 04330).
