With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gary R Hawkins (Augusta, Maine), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 19, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Boyd and Arline Hawkins (Lajoie); his spouse Railynn Smith of Gardiner; his sons, Ryan (Justin) of Gardiner and Michael (Jocelyn) of Gardiner; his grandchildren, Theo, Kael and Konnor; his brother Bob of Augusta; his sons, Tyler and Todd; the mother of his children Susanne of Baltimore; his uncle Dick; and also Marion.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Plummer Funeral Home (16 Pleasant St, Augusta, ME 04330). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Elks Lodge (397 Civic Center Dr, Augusta, ME 04330).
