He was predeceased by: his son Michael Fortin; and his brothers, Clement Fortin and Jean-Guy Fortin. He is survived by: his wife Theresa Fortin; his daughter Lori Sisler (Bryan Sr.) of South Carolina; his grandchildren, Anthony, Charles, Christa and Bryan; his son Marc Fortin (Shanon) of Minnesota; his grandchildren, Kylie and Sydney; his daughter Linda Douglas (Mark) of Arizona; his granddaughters, Desiree and Emily; his son Robert Fortin of West Gardiner; his grandchildren, Jon, Sarah, Elijah and Sophie; his daughter Carol Grenier (Rick) of Chelsea; his grandsons, Joshua and Nathan; and his siblings, Claudette Poulin, Rosane Fortin, Ghislaine Fortin, Clermont Fortin, Ginette Fortin, Gabriel Fortin, Marcel Fortin and Rene Fortin. He is also survived by 22 great grandchildren.
