Delaine Nye Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 25, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Delaine Nye (Augusta, Maine), born in Monroe, Maine. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Elwell and Helen Elwell (Kight); her brother Arthur; and her granddaughter Julia Bourque. She is survived by: her daughter Melissa Prew (Roger Madore); her granddaughters, Lauren of Vassalboro and Olivia Bourque of Vassalboro; her son David Prew (Margie); her grandchildren, Nicolas of Buda, TX, Kaitlyn of Buda, TX and Makenna of Buda, TX; her siblings, Ralph Elwell of Monroe, Adrian Elwell (Jens Schlueter) of San Francisco, CA and Alyce Wherren of Gloucester, MA.; and her close friend Brian Maddocks of Hamden. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, as well as many close friends and some really awesome neighbors.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the food pantry of your choice, Friends of Lithgow Library, Viles Arboretum, or Capital Area Newcomers Project.
