It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carmen M. Thibodeau of Augusta, Maine, who passed away on January 22, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Carmen may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Carmen touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her father Amedee Violette; and her sisters, Diane Pruett and Pauline Garland. She is survived by: her mother Christine Violette (Lacasse); her daughter Karen Otten (Rich); her granddaughter Kristin House (Will); her great grandchildren, Lily and Cooper House; and her sister Arlene Garwood (Joe).
A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Augustine Catholic Church (75 Northern Ave, Augusta, ME 04330).
