We are sad to announce that on May 24, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Anne C. Sawyer (Augusta, Maine). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Valmond Rodrigue and Julienne Rodrigue (Dostie); and her former husband Richard N. Sawyer of Winthrop. She is survived by: her daughters, Kelly Sawyer of Augusta and Rebecca Kennedy (Christopher) of Cumberland, Maine; her grandsons, Matthew Kennedy and Benjamin Kennedy of Cumberland; her siblings, Patricia Gilbert (Larry), Normand Rodrigue (Lynne), Connie Pomerleau, Pauline McKenney (Harry), Louise Patenaude (George) and Peter Rodrigue (Suzanne); and her sister-in-law Mary Sawyer of Augusta. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Anne's name may be made to St. Michael's School, 56 Sewall St., Augusta, ME 04330 to benefit the Pre-K 4 room where her daughter Kelly works.

“My most heartfelt sympathy to Anne's family! So very sad to lose another classmate, life long friend! I pray you will find comfort in the wonderful memories you shared. I have a memory of us, I lived one street over from her. 1 day we were on the phone & I forgot to hang up, no one at Anne's could use the phone. 1hr later I heard a faint voice coming from my phone it was Anne she had been screaming to tell me to hang up. It would have been easier if she had walked over to tell me. LOL LOVE You”
