He was predeceased by: his parent Cleophas Lachance; and his siblings, Norman Lachance, Richard Lachance, Robert Lachance, Marcel Lachance, Madeline Turcotte, Theresa Le Compte, Claudette Carbonneau and Claire Lachance.
He is survived by: his parent Eva Lachance (Boisvert); his children, Debra Rey (Sabial Salim) of Ca, Jan Lachance, Jim Lachance and Ruth Simpson; his sister Maggie Landry; and his grandchildren, Chrystal, Chad, Ryan, Amber, Cody and Ashley. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren and one great-great grandson and numerous nieces and nephews.
