He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elizabeth Drummond Gleason and Wallace Frederick Gleason; his sibling Robert Wallace Gleason; his wife Kathy Saunders Gleason; his daughters, Karen Gleason Graham of Purcellville, Jill Gleason Sergeant of Andover and Ann Gleason Teas of Dresden; and his grandchildren, Connor, Harrison, Thatcher, Wyatt Graham, Julia, Erik Sergeant and Sami Teas.
