He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman and Lettie; his siblings, Bradley, Barbara Parker, Muriel Lever and Ruth Hall; his brother-in-law Glendon Winton; and his granddaughters, Allison Shaw and Ashley Labonte.

He is survived by: his wife Gloria; his daughters, Karen Partridge (Alden) and Sharon Labonte (Paul); his grandsons, Christopher Shaw (Whitney), Bryan Shaw (Rita Vye), Travis Labonte (Sarah) and Cameron Labonte; and his great grandchildren, Abigail Shaw, Victoria Labonte (Tori), Finn Shaw, Tanner Labonte and Carson Labonte.
