He was predeceased by: his parents, John Murphy and Frances Sampson Paradis; his stepfather Merle Paradis; his brothers, Ronald and Gregory Paradis; his brother-in-law Ron Dufour; and his daughter-in-law Juli Chicoine.

He is survived by: his wife Anita; his daughter Casey; the mother of his child Liz; his siblings, Pam Dyer (John) of Yarmouth, Pennie Dufour of Lewiston and Rand Paradis of Lewiston; his stepchildren, Dr. Ronald Chicoine (Lynne) of Brunswick, Wendy Poutre (Tim) and Jeff Chicoine (Liz Decker) of Topsham; his grandsons, Calvin (Meaghan), Elliot (Angelynn) and Forrest Chicoine; his stepchildren, Alex (Meghan), Ben (Kenzie), Molly Chicoine, Chase Poutre (Christina) and Griffin Poutre; and his great grandchildren, Patrick, Adelyn, Eloise, Easton, William and Mallory Jo.
